About the Programme
Pratigya, in partnership with National HRD Network- Ranchi Chapter, initiated "Sanshray" - Rekindling Hope in 2020. In the first year where Sanshray facilitated livelihood support in association with Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi, in the second year it has initiated mentorship and livelihood linkages to youth in association with Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
In this time of adversity, the country faces unprecedented challenges in terms of the absence of job creation. Sanshray aims to channelize the efforts of development institutions and the mainstream population towards sustainable livelihood development for unprivileged youths.
The foreground of the program is to generate awareness for livelihood options through career counseling of children studying in 9th, 10th,12th, UG and PG. Convergence with technical education courses and short-term skill development courses that will enhance livelihood options for targeted youths. Furthermore, Skill development and financial linkage for youth entrepreneurs. It also aims to facilitate recruitment drives for skilled and unskilled laborers. We are promoting farm and non-farm-based livelihood in coordination with NABARD. Mobilization of youth volunteers from mainstream academic institutes and ensure their participation in the achievement of program goals.
The post-COVID-19 era will witness a gamut of new job roles, which would demand a new set of knowledge, skills, and abilities. Sanshray has designed reskilling and upskilling modules according to the recent recruitment trends to make the existing skilled population competent and job-ready.
